Light up the Night Invite

Course:

The 5K course is located at Dickinson Park (Rt. 11 – W. High St.).  The surface is a combination of grass and stone dust trail and suitable for racing flats or short spikes. Much of the course is flat with some short and rolling hills.     

Viewing Course:

Tours of the course should be self-directed utilizing a map of the course. A representative from Dickinson will be available to answer questions. 

Entry Info:

$150.00 per team, (men or women) Entry fee payable no later than race day by cash or check. 

Entries:

Please submit entries no later than 11:59 pm, Monday, August 26th.  For both team and individual entries please complete the entry form on Direct Athletics.  Entry fees will be collected on-site the day of the event or by check in advance.

Numbers:

Race numbers must be pinned to the front of the singlet. Please do not pin the pull off tag.

Trainers:

Dickinson College trainers will be available at the meet by 5:30pm.

Splits:

Will be available at the 1 mile, 2 mile marks.

Drink:

Water will be available at the meet site.

Scoring:

Top 5 finishers for each team will count toward the team scoring plus two displacers. Unlimited entries will be permitted in each race. Pre-race designation is not necessary.

Awards:

Team awards for the top team in each race; and 10 individual awards in each race.

Results:

Official results, team trophies, and individual awards will be provided 30 min after the final race.

Restrooms:

Will be available at the course in addition to restroom facilities at the Kline Center on campus.

Parking:

Parking is available at Dickinson Park for cars and vans.   Buses will have to drop off athletes and park behind the Dickinson Physical Plant on the corner of Orange St. and W. High St. (located ¼ mile east of Dickinson Park)

Packets:

Packets will be available for pick-up at the tent located near the finish line
